چکیده
Background: Indian farmers are facing shortage of green and dry fodders to feed their livestock during period (lean period) which possess a major hurdle in improving productivity. This study delineates, pelleting green, concentraes order meet out the fodder requirement winter/lean period, will turn consequently improve Methods: The experiments were conducted at Forage Pelleting Unit, Department Crops Agricultural College Research Institute, Tamil Nadu University, Coimbatore, from December 2020 June 2022 identify best suitable crops for pellets production. Three laboratory laid completely randomized block design (CRD) with three replication. Each experiment pelletisation had different treatments, viz., I 13 categories fodder, II 11 types III 9 concentrates. Result: observation physical characteristics (colour odour) sensory (mould) noted regular intervals date pelleting, 60 days after 120 180 pelleting. mechanical such as pellet durability index (PDI) was recorded by using tumbling can apparatus. PDI remained steady over time. In case made certain sources, colour not same odour favourable when kept longer duration (beyond DAP). Except agathi pellets, cumbu stover sorghum grain all other mold-free.

Data analysis on physical and mechanical properties of cassava pellets
In this data article, laboratory experimental investigation results carried out at National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) on moisture content, machine speed, die diameter of the rig, and the outputs (hardness, durability, bulk density, and unit density of the pellets) at different levels of cassava pellets were observed. Analysis of variance using randomized complete block design...
متن کاملMechanical durability and combustion characteristics of pellets from biomass blends.
Biofuel pellets were prepared from biomass (pine, chestnut and eucalyptus sawdust, cellulose residue, coffee husks and grape waste) and from blends of biomass with two coals (bituminous and semianthracite). Their mechanical properties and combustion behaviour were studied by means of an abrasion index and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively, in order to select the best raw materials ...

Different theories have been postulated related to the mechanism of formation and growth of pellets. Some of these theories are derived from experimental results while others are confined to visual observations results obtained from the experiments with some form of tracer technique are regarded as acceptable and convincing. Domperidone pellets are small, free-flowing, spherical or semi-spheric...
